Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a great view of the river and clean, made beds, but the wardrobe was poorly finished and unstable. The rooms are in need of modernizing and frankly disgusting. The service was friendly, but I had to go get approval from the back office and they seemed hard-pressed to do essential tasks like towels and cleaning. The location is excellent, right on the river, but not suitable for those needing nearby shops. The dining was a bit unorganized, but the food was delicious. The facilities were comfortable.
I absolutely loved our room at this hotel, even though it could use a bit of a decor update. It was cozy and offered great value for the price we paid. The service was a bit hit and miss, with some staff needing retraining, but overall, they were nice and friendly. The location was fantastic, right by the bustling River Thames, although it's a bit out of town. The dining experience was a mix of good and not so good, with a standout scrambled egg dish. The facilities were adequate for our needs.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were outstanding despite some issues like damp and peeling wallpaper. The service from the bar staff was friendly, but overall the hotel seemed run-down. The location was lovely, great for walks along the river, although the tired appearance could be off-putting. The dining was okay, with homemade pastries as a highlight.
The hotel offers a great view of the river from nearly finished rooms that are nice and clean, although in need of updating and decorating. It's not far from town. The staff is helpful and welcoming, but could improve on taking cigarette breaks. The location is pretty with potential but needs refurbishment. Dining was a surprise with fantastic food, and the hotel facilities are decent.
